civil war reenactment

Even though no one except Katy seems to read this...I decided to post something. And since I got to go to a Civil War Reenactment recently I decided to post some pictures from it.

It was a reenactment of the Battle of Kirskvill, which if you've never heard of it, I'm not surprised. I was born in Kirskvill and although I have never actually lived there I've spent a lot of time there, and I didn't know there had been a battle there till a couple years ago. It was a small battle but I guess sorta important and actually they had never reenacted it before, although they did try the last two years but it hadn't worked out. It was really cool that they got to this year since it was 150 years ago.
Anyway if you really want to know about the battle google it, I'm sure you'll get better info that way because I'm still a little foggy on the details. So instead of giving you a hole history lesson, I'll just post some pictures.

the Confederates however did not forget their flag and didn't take the Union flag down...

So because I have not been posting very much recently I decided to post some pictures from my 4th of July.

Sooo, I haven't been posting much recently, other then, of course birthdays and holidays (sorry I missed Father's Day, no offence to them, it just slipped my mind to post something for it) which I am sorry for. I've been really busy and not much worth posting about has happened....other then of course one really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really (and about a thousand more reallys) exciting thing did happen! :)

I saw Rene! :) But...

It wasn't just Rene, it was also Katy! :)

and we did lots of cool things, like going to the Gateway Arch.

and Mark Twain Cave, Cameron Cave and the Mark Twain Boyhood home.

Oh yeah and we went to visit my sister and we...

got our hair cut! :) For Locks of Love.

                           

And well we were just our normal crazy selves and had a blast! :)

Our moms hit it off pretty well too. :)

Oh yeah, we got a couple band pix. I guess now we just need a band...lol

All I can really say about the time is, I LOVE THOSE GIRLS!

Getsted Stuff

This is a little story that Rejelle and I wrote, well years ago.

It might need a little explaining. See, we stayed up till 3a.m. wrote this and then stayed up a couple more hours, so it's safe to say that we were tired. However, the misspellings are not because we were tired. They're part of the story.

Getsted Stuff

Once I was born. Then I was alive. But then I did not die (at least not yet) Then I gotsted a name. Then I gotsted teeth. Then I gotsted crawlers stuff. Then I got walkers stuff. Then finally I gotsted talkers stuff. And I got laughters stuff. As you can see mees gots lots of stuff. And after my gots dunn gotsting stuff fors a while, I did done gotsted done, done-ing gotsted stuff. And then of corse I gotsted learners stuff, but it aren’t been much helps to mees yet. So then after mees was gotsted learners and all them others stuff, my doen’t knowed twhat to dos with meself. But then thats friendship stuff was gotsted, and I’s did dones getsted friends. And then of corse my’uns done gotsted some of themses enemies stuff too. And I’s starts to wonders iffens there’s anythings elses I’d be getsting. My’uns not was expecting to, but then mees did. But I’s done gots plenty much stuff to keep my busy and none bored any. Mom said ones day I’d gets that romance stuff buts I’s hopes not. Then a times done cominged when mees was rightly walking on the road, and my’s sees something funny. It was a thingy-ma-do-whpperdly rightly so it were. I’s was hopings that I’d stops getsting alls these thingy-ma-do-whapperdly sometimes. So then my’s were thunkings, and mees decided to go floatstingses down the purty waterly flall. Afters that I decided nots to do that againe any times soon! After that, I’s weres gotsting tarbly hungry. Sos my’s decided tos gos and  find a rubbit. But alls I could done find was chickenses sos I did done find a chicken. After I were done done finding that thar chicken, I’s did done found me a grapely vine, and hadsted mees good grapelys. And then I tried to find a banas farm for some banas but thens I did done learns that there’s aren’t non of them thar banas farms round heres. Mee’s were so sad aboutsted that I nearly felled meself over a tree stumping. Soens then I’s sats down on thats stumping to cries some. Then after mees was done gotsting sad, my were bored to me skull. So I decided to go chases some of those chickenses I’d done found. That twered very fun! But I’s done did get tired outs bys it. So mees lyed down on the grounds under me a nice tree and felled me to sleep. Whens I did done wake ups I’s weren’t none ables to sees nothing. Sos then I’s done did rightly decide to goodly.

potato chips

A suggestion made by Katy... A hole, entire post about POTATO CHIPS!

So sit back and enjoy reading this very...potatoy post.

First off I asked Katy what she thought about Potato chips, here's what she said.

me: do you like potato chips?

Katy: YESSSSS!! 

   Katy:  they TASTE SO GOOD

That pretty much sums up how I feel about potato chips too. And this post.

Other then to say that in the comments you can tell how you feel about potato chips, and what you think about the flavored ones, and your favorite kind of flavored and so on. (my favorite is sour cream and onion!) ;)

Are you all ready for a LOT of pictures? Good because that's what I have! :)

A girl at church and I took a bunch of pictures about a month ago, and I am now posting them. The best part? It was SNOWY but WARM. Which actually is usually sad because the snow melts but when your taking pictures it's pretty cool. ;)

OH and another thing I should say, Marizona, the girl who I took the pictures with, she wants to be a photographer, so she has a really nice camera, which makes taking pictures with her really fun, and the pictures look awesome!

We did a lot of jumping. lol but it is kinda hard to get pictures of people jumping and actually have them in the air, and looking good. But we got some cool ones. :)

So, where we go to church is out in the country, and just a short walk away is a creek, which just happened to be frozen when we took these, so yes, we really are walking on snow covered ice. I am happy to say that neither of us slipped, however we did get our feet wet a couple times when we broke some ice... but thankfully it wasn't a deep part of the creek where we broke through. :)

Also we are both crazy, which you already knew I was...

I think the biggest problem is that we took soo many cool pictures so I want to post them all but yet, it's too many to post. That's why I made some collages, but I still couldn't post them all. Anyway I hope you enjoyed them! :)
