Trip out East! Day 1 & 2

Okay before you all start going "This is really old" truth is, yes it is really old! I've had this sitting in the drafts for a couple months now. Kinda forgot about it...oops.

Sooo since my two most faithful (and most the time I think my only) readers said they wanted more, more they are getting! lol
First off just so you all know, I'm not gonna post anything near all the pictures we took! Considering the final number was something around 2,704 give or take some. And of those probably about half didn't turn out as awesome as I had hoped.
Anyway so Day 1!

Day 1 we headed out towards Chicago because I had never been there before, so I was pretty excited. :) lol
Union Station, Chicago!
We made a stop at Union Station, it was really cool and made me want to ride a train again even more I already had wanted to!

Me with Willis Tower (aka The Sears Tower) behind me
Since we didn't have much time we didn't go to the Willis Tower, but we drove right past it.

At the bottom of Willis Tower (aka the Sears Tower)
Then we drove and drove and ended up somewhere in Ohio, and thus began the trip!

Day 2:the morning!

We started driving again and we were by LAKE ERIE!!!!!! If you were wondering for reasons I now forget Lake Erie is my favorite of the Great Lakes, so I was really excited to  get out of the car and make a short stop at a beach on Lake Erie!
At Lake Erie :)
So then we drove and drove and ended up in Niagara NY, which was cool!
Day 2: the afternoon

at Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls was pretty cool (minus a couple discomforts that I won't bother going into detail about.), especially seeing Canada across the way was really cool! (sadly we didn't get to go into Canada b/c we ran out of time)

The rapids leading up to the falls
And then onto CT!!

One day I hope to post more about the trip for you all... *fingers crossed* that it won't be too long till that happens!

  1. Ooooh! Love the pictures! I can't wait for more!
I went to Niagara falls too! I stood right where you are. :) Did you see the big fat squirrels? Gracie got to feed them M&M's from her hand! I think we were more impressed with the squirrels than the falls!
I hope it won't be too long either!

  2. Thanks!! :)
Oh cool! :) Well we saw some black squirrels but they looked the same size most squirrels around here are. That's really cool that Gracie got to feed them! :) lol I was sick (and felt miserable) so neither the squirrels nor the falls impressed me as much as the tea that Mrs. Allie made me when we got to their house! ;P
